We officially begin our project mini-series, the #PERISCOPEMonthlyTalks. You may recall that our first ever podcast episode focused on the launch of the project, and now, we’ll conduct a monthly discussion with relevant stakeholders to talk about interesting and relevant updates regarding the PERISCOPE project.
The PERISCOPE project was launched in late 2020 and investigates the broad socio-economic and behavioural impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, in order to make Europe more resilient and prepared for future large-scale risks. We speak with PERISCOPE project coordinator Paolo Giudici about the role of data and data analysis in understanding the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Paolo Giudici is a Professor of Statistics at the University of Pavia, a Financial data scientist and coordinator of another European project, FINTECH Risk Management.
