COCTEAU is a gamification tool that applies gaming techniques to increase engagement in citizens toward public good initiatives, policy making decisions, and reactions to societal problems. In the scope of PERISCOPE, COCTEAU has been extended, refined and contextualized to the problems, challenges and decisions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.

COCTEAU applies co-creation approaches and visual clues to elicit citizens’ opinions and perspectives, thus generating data in support of policy makers.

The tool features:

Quizzes on specific topics, possibility to create and share visions and perspectives on challenging tasks, and interactions/ discussions and assessment across users on user-generated content.
