In this episode of the #PERISCOPEMonthlyTalks, we touch upon the importance of data for forecasting, particularly with the European Covid-19 Forecast Hub which provides short-term forecasts of Covid-19 cases and deaths across Europe, coordinated by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control.

PERISCOPE has recently collaborated with the European Forecast Hub through the University of Pavia, by providing metadata with information on methodology, as well as forecasts for four weeks for EU’s largest countries (France, Italy, Germany and Spain). The plan is to expand this collaboration to other EU countries.
