ISI FOUNDATION

The ISI Foundation (www.isi.it) is a private research institution located in Turin, Italy. It was founded in 1983 by the Regional Government, the Province of Turin, the City of Turin and it is supported by a major Italian bank foundation, CRT Foundation. Its mission focuses on promoting scientific interchange and cooperation at the highest degree of quality both in terms of creativity and originality of research. It aims to represent a pole of high-level interdisciplinary training in the fields of Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, and Life Sciences. The institute has about 50 researchers (10 research leaders, 20 post docs, 5 PhD students, 15 Master Degree students) and has an excellent record track as to the participation in EU framework research and innovation programmes.
