STOCKHOLM SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS

The Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) is one of the leading European business school. SIR’s main activities include teaching (undergraduate and graduate degrees, PhD programs, executive MBAs and corporate programs), research (SIR aims to be recognised as a global benchmark for thought leadership in selected knowledge fields incl. innovation) and outreach (SSE builds strong relationships with companies in order to understand their needs and challenges, so that it can educate future responsible leaders in business and beyond).

The House of Innovation at the Stockholm School of Economics is an inter-disciplinary research, education and outreach environment focused on innovation, digitalisation and entrepreneurship. It produces scientifically based knowledge relevant to academics, corporations, government agencies, civil society actors and individuals. In doing so, it interacts with an international network of scholars and academic institutions, as well as with corporate and institutional funders. Ongoing research projects at the House of Innovation address phenomena like design thinking, open innovation and alliances, creativity and constraints, smart mobility and sustainable cities, digitalisation in public sector.

SSE’s incubator (SSE Business Lab) and the Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship, a consortium between SSE, Karolinska Institutet, the University of Arts, Crafts and Design, the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm University and the Royal College of Music, are also part of the House of Innovation.
